Game made for Winter MelonJam 2024!

NOTE: If the gameplay on web is out of sync, try installing the executable and running that instead.

How to play:

--- Use the up and down arrow keys to move the electrons to their opposite poles (e.g: a north electron must be directed toward the south pole of the magnet).
--- Time your input along with the rhythm.

What is the Stern-Gerlach Experiment?

The experiment from 1922 showed that electrons have a magnetic moment (kind of like a reallyyy tiny bar magnet) that can only point in certain directions, which is called "spin up" or "spin down". By sending a beam of electrons through a magnetic field, they observed that the beam always split into two distinct paths.
